Weld Creations provides subcontract welding for machine shops, sheet metal fabricators and manufacturers across Southern California. You make the parts, and we weld them: precision TIG welding on your machined and formed components, with the distortion control that protects your work, returned inspected and ready for your next operation. We’re AWS D17.1 certified, and we weld the materials many shops would rather send out, including thin-wall stainless, aluminum, titanium and nickel alloys.
Why shops send us their welding
Most machine shops and fab shops can weld. They send work out when welding would slow them down or put a part at risk:
- Overflow. Welding has become the bottleneck, and your welder is buried.
- Exotic materials. Titanium, Inconel, Hastelloy or thin-wall stainless, where one bad weld scraps expensive machining.
- Certified welding. The job flows down a welding specification and you need a certified welder.
- Cosmetic or sanitary welds. Visible welds that must look right, or product-contact welds that must be crevice-free and back purged.
- Distortion-sensitive parts. Machined features that have to stay in position through welding.
How we protect your machined features
Welding puts heat into your part, and heat moves metal. We treat distortion control as part of the job, not an afterthought:
- Fixturing. Parts are held in position during welding and cooling, using fixtures built for repeat work.
- Weld sequencing. Welds are placed and ordered to balance heat around the part.
- Controlled heat input. Precision TIG welding puts only as much heat into the part as the joint needs.
- Straight advice on machining stock. When features must be held tighter than welding allows, we’ll tell you where to leave stock so you can machine after welding.
The bracket in the photo is a typical example: a machined, bored block fillet-welded to a drilled plate, with consistent welds and the machined features intact. It’s one of a production run of identical parts.

How it works
- Send the drawing and the details. Tell us the material, weld requirements, quantity, inspection needs, and any critical features that must not move.
- Quote. We reply within one business day, with per-part pricing for repeat work.
- Drop off or ship parts. Local shops can bring parts to our Glendora shop by appointment.
- Weld, inspect, document. Parts are welded to your drawing and inspected, with photos or records as you require.
- Return. Parts come back ready for your next operation: machining, finishing or assembly.
Documentation for your quality file
If your customer requires records, tell us what they need: weld inspection results, photos, material traceability for any filler or material we supply, or a certificate of conformance. We deliver it with the parts in the format your quality system expects.
Your customer stays your customer
When you subcontract welding, you’re trusting a supplier with your customer’s parts and your reputation. We work for you. We don’t contact or solicit your customers, and parts and paperwork go back to you unless you instruct otherwise. Tell us about any confidentiality requirements, and we’ll follow them.
Repeat work and blanket orders
If you send the same part regularly, we build a fixture and lock in the process so every lot matches, and quote per-part pricing that reflects your volume. Blanket orders with scheduled releases work well for shops with recurring jobs. We can also take on additional steps when that helps you, such as cutting, forming or custom fabrication of the parts to be welded.

Our shop is in Glendora, close to the 210 and 57 freeways, which makes drop-off and pick-up practical for shops across the San Gabriel Valley and eastern Los Angeles County. We also serve shops across Los Angeles, Orange and San Bernardino counties.
